Newport Matte Square & Subway Pattern Tile
The Newport Matte Square & Subway Pattern Tile blends two shapes, the 150x150 square and 75x150 subway, to create a relaxed, completely random layout. Each tile comes from a different batch, bringing natural shifts in colour and size that build a soft, textured look on your walls. This gentle variation is what gives the pattern its charm and makes every installation feel one-of-a-kind.
Pattern is made up of 2 tiles, the Newport large square 150x150 and Newport subway 75x150. In your order, you will receive 50% (1.45m2) of the square and 50% (1.45m2) of the subway.
Pro tip: when tiling this pattern, we encourage you to only open one box of each size at a time (1 x box of square & 1 x box of subways), and to ensure you’ve used up all tiles in both boxes before opening another set of two boxes. This is to ensure you’re using the right ratio of squares to subways
Batching: The 2 x tiles come in different batches as they're 2 x products that we use to make the pattern. This means there are variations in sizes and colour.
This variance is what adds that little bit extra to the textured look of the tile.

Shipping is calculated based on the total weight of your order. For tapware and lighting orders under 20kg, standard rates range from $4.95 to $19.95, with express options available from $11.95 to $26.95. Tile orders and orders over 20kg incur a flat rate starting at $70. Shipping is automatically calculated at checkout.
We also offer Click & Collect from our Sydney location. As stock is held across multiple locations, please allow up to 7 working days for click & collect. However some items are available for same-day collection, so feel free to contact our team to check.

We offer returns for change of mind on all products. All tapware and lighting can be returned within 60 days of delivery. Tiles and tile accessories can be returned within 30 days of delivery.
Return shipping to Verandah’s Sydney warehouse in Rosebery, NSW 2018 is to be arranged and paid for by the customer. Alternatively you can drop your return off at our warehouse.

Size – Tiles are displayed as their ‘nominal size’ for simplicity. The actual tile size may vary slightly from this depending on manufacturer. Please factor in actual size when figuring out if different tile grout joints or patterns will line up.
Batching – The colour, shade, size and texture of tiles can vary from batch to batch. If you are placing an additional order to match with existing tiles, please contact hello@verandahbrands.com.au to make sure the batch is the same.
Samples – Final products may exhibit variation from sample. Variation in colour, shade, texture and pattern between production runs may occur but will be within manufacturing standards.
Your ceramic tiles are covered by our warranty on top of your Australian Consumer Law rights. The warranty covers the tile body (Structure) and the glaze or surface (Finish), and runs from the day your order is delivered.

Commercial: Structure — 7 years | Finish — 7 years
Inspect tiles before installation, as installed tiles are considered accepted and visible faults won’t be covered. Check for batch/shade variations before laying. The warranty covers tiles only, not labour, removal, reinstallation, adhesive, grout or waterproofing.

Making a claim
If something's wrong, contact us within 30 days of finding the fault. Have your proof of purchase, the product name/SKU, and photos of the issue ready. If the tiles haven't been installed yet, don't install them — fill out our claims form.
